Christmas in the Bay 2020

Christmas in the Bay will, once again, be a time for our community to welcome the Christmas spirit to St. Margaret’s Bay.

While Covid-19 has forced changes to what is traditionally a day-long community event, there will still be plenty of festive fun! The Christmas in the Bay elves have some fun surprises in store that are sure to warm your heart and get you into the spirit of the season. Make sure to follow us on Facebook and share your stories.

Virtual Christmas in the Bay

Watch the recording on our Facebook Page!

We are bringing the magic of this favourite annual event to your family at home. Join us our first Virtual Christmas in the Bay! This magical hour will be filled with carols and stories, and of course the annual tree lighting with a special guest appearance by Santa himself! The event will be hosted LIVE on our Facebook page, with Santa’s chief reporter, Susie Reindeer, on Sunday November 29th at 5pm. And the best part is that if you can’t make it live, everything will be recorded so you can watch (or re-watch!) the program at anytime with your family.

Colouring Contest

Sharpen your coloured pencils and gather up your markers to take part in the Christmas in the Bay Colouring Contest! Each age category will colour a picture made especially for Christmas in the Bay by talented local artist Amy Nemeth, of I Dream in Colour, Do You? Prizes will be awarded to 3rd place in 4 different age categories.
